Freelance Animator

This role involves creating a high-quality, 3-minute anime music video for a client project. The ideal candidate or studio will have a strong background in anime-style animation and a proven ability to deliver visually compelling narratives. The project is fully remote, offering flexibility for animators worldwide. You will collaborate closely with an art director to bring the creative vision to life, ensuring the final product meets professional standards and resonates with the intended audience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and animate a 3-minute music video in authentic anime style
• Collaborate with the art director to interpret storyboards and creative briefs
• Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and effects consistent with the project's artistic direction
• Manage the animation pipeline from initial sketches to final compositing
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality, timing, and technical specifications
• Communicate progress and address feedback promptly throughout the production process

Skills And Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in anime animation, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Advanced skills in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, TVPaint, or similar)
• Experience with character design, background art, and visual storytelling in anime
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines for a single, high-impact project
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
• Availability for a project duration exceeding one week
• Remote work capability; no on-site presence required
