Job Description
English at 90% is required.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Freight Broker.
- Strong knowledge of the transportation industry ranging from import, export, cross border, port terminals, and or supply chain.
- Knowledge of United States Transportation regulations, compliance, geography, and markets.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills, ability to multitask, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience in transportation sales and account management.
- Effectively manage customer and carrier relationships.
- Proficient with computers including using transportation management software for dispatching and tracking shipments.
- Proficient with but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment.
- Source and secure new transportation lanes, carriers, and customers for freight transportation.
