Job Description
Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate shipments (air, sea, and land freight).
- Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and transport companies.
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or issues.
- Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and review shipping documents (BL, AWB, Packing List, Invoice, COO, Permit, etc.). Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws. Submit import/export permit applications when required (e.g., MITI, customs).
- Cost Management: Source and negotiate rates with carriers and service providers. Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining service quality. Prepare billing, costing, and invoicing for shipments.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
