Freight Forwarding Coordinator

Job Summary

The Freight Forwarding Coordinator is responsible for coordinating end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, sea and land shipments. This role liaises with customers, carriers, customs and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective shipment execution while complying with regulatory and service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer inquiries via phone or e‑mail.
• Prepare quotations for regular or potential customers.
• Liaise with International and Local Agents for booking inquiries and coordination.
• Liaise with the internal Operation Department.
• Sort and compile supporting documents before handing them to the Accounts Department for invoicing.
• Liaise with the Trucking Department for trucking arrangements as required.
• Provide daily updates to customers and other downline stations on cargo uplift status.
