Freight Handler

JOB DESCRIPTION Midland Transport is currently looking for an Overnight Freight Handler based out of the Dartmouth Terminal. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and Can Do attitude.
Shift: Sunday-Thursday (midnight to 8AM)

Responsibilities

• Dock setup
• Scanning process and paperwork (BOLs)
• Loading and unloading freight
• Communicate with other Dock Workers to ensure safe loading and unloading
• Keeping the dock and work area clean and fully functioning
• Flexible to assist in other areas when volumes are low, including covering for both courier and transport deliveries routes

Qualifications

• Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
