The Role:
We are seeking a replacement Teacher of French for 2026 with an FTE between 0.4 to 0.5 to commence as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the duties relating to the teaching of mixed ability classes.
- Be on the creative edge of developments in education and curriculum.
- Be proactive regarding educational initiatives within curriculum area.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the workings of the Australian Curriculum and its application to the designated subject area.
- Enhance students’ learning with a variety of methodologies.
- Provide students with positive feedback on performance that reinforces student achievement and focuses on improvement.
- Be able to work with our Learning Management System, SEQTA.
The successful candidate will:
- The successful applicant must be an engaging educator who prides themselves on being an effective communicator who can build meaningful relationships with students, peers and parents.
- Be a current registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA).
- Have academic qualifications in the appropriate subject area.
- Possess or be willing to obtain, a current Working With Children Check, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012), and Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training.
- Support and attend College activities as required.
- Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work practices and management strategies.
- Have an affinity with, and preparedness to support the Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism of the College.
