Job Overview

We are hiring Fresher CNC VMC operator professional for client MNC Company a full-time position located in Sriperumbudur. This role is ideal for individuals with 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience looking to start their career in the manufacturing and CNC machining industry. The position demands critical skills in CNC programming and machine setup and calibration.

Qualifications and Skills

• proficiency in cnc programming is essential to effectively write and analyze machine codes for varied projects (mandatory skill)
• proficiency in machine setup and calibration to ensure precise operation as per specifications and safety standards (mandatory skill)
• proficient in using mastercam software for designing and programming cnc operations efficiently
• ability to use solidworks for creating and managing detailed 3d models required for cnc machining processes
• solid understanding of g-code for the accurate and efficient transmission of machine instructions and designs
• experience with using autocad to draft and modify engineering designs that are integral to cnc operations
• knowledge of fanuc controls to manage and troubleshoot cnc machines using this control system effectively
• strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve any cnc machine-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime

Roles and Responsibilities

• set up and operate cnc vmc machines to produce quality components in alignment with design specifications
• program cnc machines using established templates and codes ensuring that they adhere to machine and safety protocols
• perform regular machine maintenance checks and calibrations to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• read blueprints or robotics design plans to determine required machine setup and operational sequence
• collaborate with the design team to troubleshoot and refine current processes, providing feedback for improvements
• ensure adherence to quality assurance policies and procedures throughout the manufacturing process
• keep up-to-date records of machine performance and any modifications or repairs undertaken
• assist in the training of new operators by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices in cnc machining
