Job Description

- responsible for assisting in the handling of all passenger and cargo baggage at the airport terminal. this includes loading and unloading baggage onto aircraft and ensuring it is securely stowed.- assisting in the transportation of passengers between the terminal and aircraft using airport vehicles such as trolleys or buses. ensuring passengers board and disembark safely.- conducting safety checks on baggage and cargo to ensure compliance with airport security regulations. reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.- communicating effectively with passengers to provide assistance and directions as needed. handling inquiries and resolving issues related to baggage or passenger services.- maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the airport terminal and surrounding area. this includes clearing trash, debris, and snow during inclement weather.skills and expectations:- excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and team members effectively.- ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.- physical stamina and strength to lift heavy baggage and endure long periods of standing and walking.- attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling baggage and cargo.- flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing work conditions at the airport.
