Front End Developer (With Squiz Experience)

Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join their digital team, focused on Squiz DXP implementations for high-impact projects. This hybrid role (3 days in-office / 2 days WFH) is based in Sydney and suits someone with strong frontend skills and a passion for accessible, high-performing web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality frontend solutions using modern frameworks (e.g., Vue , Nuxt , React or similar).
• Collaborate on Squiz DXP implementations within the digital team.
• Ensure web fundamentals, REST API integration, performance and accessibility are at the core of all deliverables.
• Contribute to websites, portals and intranets with a focus on responsive design and WCAG accessibility.
• Work with design systems/component libraries and support ongoing improvement of frontend architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong skills in Vue , Nuxt , React , or similar.
• Deep understanding of web fundamentals , REST APIs, and performance optimization.
• Proven track record building websites, portals, and intranets .
• Solid knowledge of WCAG accessibility and responsive design .
• Experience with design systems /component libraries .
• Bonus: Familiarity with platforms like Drupal , Sitecore , Kentico , etc.

• Location: Central Surry Hills office with hybrid flexibility (Sydney, Australia).
