Front Office IT Risk Developer C#

The Company

A global financial institution with a strong presence in capital markets, investing heavily in technology to support and transform its Equity and Risk trading platforms across regions.

The Team

Part of the Capital Markets IT organization in Hong Kong, the team supports Equity platforms (pre-trade, post-trade and risk) and works closely with global teams across Europe, the US, and Asia. The environment is international, fast-paced, and delivery-focused.

The Role

Senior C#/Java Developer & Technical Lead responsible for leading the Asia Equity delivery team. The role combines hands-on development with team leadership, covering solution delivery, production support, and platform transformation for Equity and Equity Risk systems.

The Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science or related field
• 15+ years of experience in capital markets IT, with strong exposure to Equity products / Equity Risk platforms
• Proven experience as Tech Lead or similar role in a global environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, C++ and/or Java (APIs, backend services)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and production support
• Experience leading agile delivery teams (5–10 developers)
• Strong stakeholder management skills with Front Office and global IT teams
• Fluent in English (French and/or Chinese is a plus)
• Ability to work under pressure with strong ownership and accountability
