Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Design and develop automated test scripts for AWS Lambda functions and related services.
• Collaborate with developers to understand new features and functionality and write appropriate tests.
• Develop testing strategies and test cases using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or PyTest.
• Implement integration, functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Use AWS tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, etc.) to monitor, debug, and optimize Lambda executions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Identify, document, and track defects in a test management system (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
• Assist in code reviews and provide test-related feedback.
• Help drive test automation best practices and culture across the team.
• 5–10 years of experience in software testing or QA automation.
• Experience with React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and other serverless services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai, PyTest).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like AWS SAM, Serverless Framework, or Terraform.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
