The team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on developing and maintaining web applications using Java Script (and related frameworks) and also need to be proficient at building interfaces using HTML and CSS. Strong in Java script coding,
What will you do
● Work with UX designers to bring UI designs from concept to implementation through rapid prototyping and evaluation of design ideas
● Work with the development teams to gather information about system APIs and help shape the data that is available for UI consumption
● Implement UIs with clean, responsive, and accessible HTML, CSS, and Java Script as needed to support the design vision
● Work closely with designers during brainstorming, design reviews, and iteration of UI improvement.
● Advocates code reviews and best practices in UI technologies.
What will you bring
● Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a technology-related discipline
● 7+ years of software development experience
● Experience in building web applications using HTML, CSS, and Java Script
● Experience with Java Script frameworks like React, Next.js and Redux
● Working knowledge of bundling technologies like Webpack, Grunt, etc.
● Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
● Experience with modern CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Patternfly
● Great communication and collaboration skills, solid attention to detail
● Experience with code versioning tools like Git
● Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including performing root cause analysis
The following are considered a plus:
● Experience with Type Script
● Experience with agile development and open source projects
● Familiarity with emerging web standards like Web Components
● Experience with UX and UI design and prototyping tools, e.g., Sketch, Invision, or Figma
