GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform diversified activities related to the maintenance of buildings and grounds. Provide support to others in Facility Services as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Three years of experience in a similar work environment

    • Preferred: 

  • Holds a current NC pesticide license.

    • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Possession of a valid NC driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a NC pesticide license.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule for College events and times of inclement weather.

    • OTHER DUTIES

  • Performs grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, weeding, trimming shrubs and hedges, raking leaves, and mulching flower beds.
