What You’ll Do

• Build and scale backend APIs in Node.js / TypeScript (and Python where needed) across REST and GraphQL.
• Own distributed architecture across Lambda, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, Step Functions , and event-driven pipelines.
• Integrate deeply with the AI stack—AWS Bedrock, OpenAI GPT-4o, Google Gemini, Pinecone, Elasticsearch —to support retrieval and agent workflows.
• Design secure, multi-tenant systems with IAM , Cognito , KMS , audit logs, and SOC-2–aligned practices.
• Optimize performance: caching (Redis), concurrency, P90 latency, cold starts, and throughput.
• Add observability with CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry , tracing, metrics, and alerts.
• Write clean, type-safe, tested code (Jest), automate CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and manage infra via Terraform/CDK .
• Collaborate with frontend and ML teams to ship fast, reliable end-to-end features.

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have

• 2–5 years building production backends in Node.js / TypeScript (Python a plus).
• Hands-on depth with AWS: Lambda, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS .
• Strong fundamentals in API design, distributed systems, caching, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Postgres , Redis , and event-based architectures.
• Comfort working with AI/ML APIs, vector DBs, or LLM-driven systems (bonus, not mandatory).
• Clear, concise communication and an ownership mindset.
• Bonus points for Terraform/CDK, GraphQL, OpenTelemetry, multi-tenant architectures, or fintech exposure.
