Full Stack Engineer - Cloud

Quidich Innovation Labs is a global company headquartered in Mumbai, India, that pioneers in customized technology solutions for Sports Broadcast. Building on this thinking, we have created various technology tools over the past five years and deployed them at tournaments such as the Indian Premier League, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, ICC Women’s World Cup, and Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, to name a few.

Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in full-stack development, a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions, and a passion for robust, scalable infrastructure. You will be a key member of our product engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining full-stack web applications. Beyond feature development, you will play a crucial role in shaping our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and overall system reliability. You’ll bridge the gap between frontend excellence, backend logic, and cloud operations, ensuring our products are performant, secure, and observable.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Building responsive, accessible, and efficient user interfaces primarily using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. Develop and maintain scalable backend services, database and APIs.
• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Designing, implementing, and managing cloud resources on AWS. Advocate for and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Containerization & Deployment: Containerizing applications using Docker and managing orchestration and deployment (e.g., using ECS, EKS, or Fargate). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• System Ownership: Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaboration & Code Quality: Working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers. Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough reviews using Git in a collaborative workflow.
• Observability & Reliability: Implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance. Utilize tools like Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack capacity.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud development and infrastructure.
• Must have full-stack development experience along with cloud expertise (AWS).
• Hands-on experience in live video visualization on web platforms and cloud server orchestration using containerization.
• High proficiency in React, with strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Solid experience with at least one backend language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go).
• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases for database design, implementation, and optimization.
• Proven experience with AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC).
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (Terraform).
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration platforms.
• Strong experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Version Control: Comfortable with Git.
• A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership, a desire to automate, and a commitment to building sustainable systems.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
