Full Stack Engineer (NodeJS)

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer who wants real ownership in a fast‐growing, profitable health tech company. You will ship end‐to‐end features, shape the product, and grow with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and Adonis.
• Manage databases (MySQL) and ensure data integrity and performance optimisation.
• Deploy and monitor services using PM2 and Docker on AWS.
• Deliver new features and improve existing ones.
• Integrating Advanced AI Capabilities: Explore, evaluate and integrate LLM APIs and leverage agent frameworks to power up features in our products.
• Ensure code quality, security, and best practices across all backend services. Design and create systems that always put user data security and privacy first, ensuring sensitive information is well-protected.
• Product mindset with ability to understand metrics and user journeys.
• Engineering Excellence: Contribute through Agile practices, clear documentation, thorough testing, and continuous integration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4 years of backend engineering experience, ideally within a scaleup environment.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Adonis, MySQL, Docker, AWS, and PM2. Python experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
• Product mindset to understand what we do and why.
• Fluent in English as we are an international team. Spanish is a plus.
• A positive and solution-oriented mindset, unafraid to experiment and take initiative.
• Doesn't take NO as an answer. Curious and determined to make an impact.
• Team player able to communicate with a senior backend developer and CEO.
