As we enter our next phase, we are ready to bring our first full-time engineering partner in-house.

Job Summary / Role Overview

We are seeking a Founding Full Stack Flutter Developer to join us as our first long-term engineering hire and take full ownership of our mobile application end-to-end.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys building real products from the ground up. You will work closely with the founder on product requirements and roadmap decisions, collaborate with an experienced designer on detailed UI/UX execution, and own technical decisions across frontend, backend, and deployment.

This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a growing product with an engaged global audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of a production-ready Flutter application (iOS and Android)
• Translate detailed product requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models
• Make informed decisions around system architecture, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate directly with the founder on product direction, prioritisation, and execution
• Implement pixel-perfect UI from detailed Figma designs and redlines
• Test code thoroughly to ensure stability, reliability, and production readiness
• Manage the full release lifecycle, including deployments to the App Store and Google Play
• Proactively identify and resolve technical debt, performance issues, and stability risks
• Take long-term ownership of code quality, maintainability, and system health

Required Qualifications / What We’re Looking For

• Strong, hands-on experience building production applications with Flutter
• Proven experience as a full stack developer (frontend, backend, and basic DevOps)
• Demonstrated ability to build and ship a product from scratch
• Solid understanding of system design and application architecture
• Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs and working with databases
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment
• Clear and proactive communication skills, comfortable working directly with a founder
• Strong product intuition and understanding of user behaviour in mobile applications

Preferred Skills / Nice to Have

• Experience with audio, media, or content-driven applications
• Familiarity with subscription models, payments, or monetisation features
• Experience refactoring or stabilising existing production systems
• Prior startup or scale-up experience with high ownership responsibility
• Experience working remotely with distributed or global teams

Work Schedule

As the founder is based in the United States (Eastern Time), collaboration hours will align accordingly:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM IST
