Full-Stack Oracle Developer

There is a short-term engagement for a Full-Stack Oracle Developer to join and help deliver a project.

Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• HTML5, CSS3 - Responsive design, Flexbox/Grid, media queries.
• JavaScript - Core programming, DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await).
• Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit) - Since VBCS is built on Oracle JET.
• VB Components Framework - Developing and consuming reusable components in VBCS.
• REST APIs Integration - Calling and consuming external/internal REST services.
• Oracle Visual Builder UI Patterns - Forms, tables, charts, dashboards.

Backend Development

• Node.js (for lightweight backend logic if used outside VBCS)
• PL/SQL / SQL - For custom logic, views, and stored procedures in Oracle DB.

Cloud & DevOps

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Services:
  • Oracle VBCS
  • Oracle Autonomous Database
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • OCI Functions (serverless)
  • OCI Object Storage
• CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, OCI DevOps Pipelines)
• Version Control - Git/GitHub or Bitbucket

Database & Data Services

• Oracle SQL - CRUD operations, performance tuning
• Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) - Exposing Oracle DB objects as REST APIs
• JSON and XML processing - For data handling in integrations
