Database Engineer / DBA (AWS RDS)

6 to 9 years of Experience

Key Requirements:

Strong DBA and database development experience

Deep expertise in MS SQL & PostgreSQL

Hands-on experience with AWS RDS

Proven skills in SQL optimization and performance tuning

A solid DBA and database developer to handle MS SQL, Postgres DBs in AWS using RDS. Preferably they can do basic admin work in snowflake as well. Remember this person needs to be solid with DBs, writing and optimizing SQL, alerting and fine tuning DBs, creating clones and backups and such.

An expert in Devops pipelines who can write TF scripts, Worked with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Devops and other tools to deploy apps. This would be a Developer turned platform engineer who can write python scripts and create/modify all of our TF scripts as needed.
