POSITION SUMMARY

The Communications Technician is responsible for maintaining and coordinating all computer and network equipment for the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.  This will include all computer/network infrastructure related hardware and software.  The Full Time Communications Technician will also act as a technical resource for the members of the Police Service.

EQUIPMENT USED

Personal and networked computers, computer hardware/software, telephone, photocopier, fax.
