Position: Software Engineer - .NET Developer
Location: Malvern East, VIC - Hybrid
Type: Permanent

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Software Engineer (.NET) to join our high-performing engineering team and help build modern, scalable web and mobile applications.

You'll work across the full stack using React, Flutter, .NET (C#), Azure and contribute to a cloud-native, microservices-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain scalable web and mobile apps using React, Flutter, .NET (C#), and Azure.
  • Work end-to-end across UI, backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Deliver features frequently through strong CI/CD pipelines and agile ways of working.
  • Apply domain-driven and event-driven design principles to architecture and code.
  • Write clean, testable, high-quality code aligned with engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with BAs, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Use modern AI development tools to increase delivery speed and code quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and architecture decisions.
  • Implement secure coding, incident response, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain strong automated testing coverage across all layers.
  • Contribute to database design and tuning across Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.

Technical Skillset

  • Strong experience with .NET (C#) for backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Solid hands-on experience with React for modern web interfaces.
  • Understanding of DDD and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience working in Azure (Azure SQL, DevOps, containers).
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and relational DB design.
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
  • Ability to write scalable, maintainable, performance-focused code.

What You Bring

  • Proven full-stack experience in production-grade environments.
  • Strong front-end skills using React and modern FE tooling.
  • Real-world experience building scalable backend systems in .NET
  • Strong unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and inter-service communication.
  • Track record of deploying and operating applications on Azure.
