Functional Analyst – Data

Job Description
This role partners closely with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to extract, cleanse, transform, and archive legacy HR data. The analyst serves as a liaison between technical teams and the business to gather requirements, analyze legacy data structures, define mappings, and translate business needs into technical specifications. Responsibilities include validating data quality and integrity, supporting data migration and testing activities, creating functional documentation and data dictionaries, troubleshooting data issues, responding to post‑archival inquiries, and contributing to process improvements and automation opportunities within the archival workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on with data, and experienced in collaborating across technical and functional teams. This person will be compensated $50-$60/hr depending on experience.
