Job Summary:

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant with 12+ years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in D365 Field Service . The candidate will lead functional design, solution architecture support, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end implementation across complex enterprise Field Service transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

• Lead end-to-end D365 Field Service implementations , upgrades, and rollouts
• Own business requirement analysis , gap-fit analysis, and functional solution design
• Act as the functional SME for D365 Field Service modules
• Drive solutioning aligned with Microsoft best practices

Mandatory

• 12+ years overall D365 CRM experience
• 7–10+ years with hands-on D365 Field Service
• Strong knowledge of:
• Work order lifecycle
• Scheduling & dispatching
• Asset & preventive maintenance
• Resource characteristics and skills

Field Service Core Expertise

• Configure and manage:
• Work Orders
• Incident Types
• Service Tasks
• Agreements & Entitlements
• Preventive Maintenance
• Schedule optimization using:
• Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO)
• Universal Resource Scheduling (URS)
• Manage Field Service mobility app requirements and offline capabilities

Integration & Extensions

• Collaborate with technical teams on:
• Power Automate
• Power Apps

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Engage with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and testers
• Translate business needs into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Lead and support:
• Functional documentation
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Production deployments
• Hypercare and support transitions

Governance & Best Practices

• Ensure compliance with:
• Data security
• Role-based access
• Environment strategies
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior consultants
• Review functional designs and configuration quality
