Functional Skills Tutor - Level 1, 2 and Entry level
Location: Durham
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Up to GBP30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Prospero Teaching is partnered with Local Councils, SEND teams, and schools across the UK. We are currently experiencing a high demand for Functional Skills Tutors in Durham to deliver Maths, English, and PSHE at Entry Level 3, Level 1, and Level 2.
The Opportunity
We are seeking nurturing and dedicated Functional Skills Tutors to support children and young people on a one-to-one or small group basis. These learners are not currently accessing full-time education for a variety of reasons, including emotional or behavioural barriers to learning.
Many of our students have been out of education for extended periods, so we are looking for tutors who are patient, flexible, and passionate about helping young people rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning.
