Functional skills tutor - Newcastle

Prospero Teaching is working closely with local councils, SEND services, and education providers across Newcastle to deliver tailored, one-to-one and small group Functional Skills support. We’re currently recruiting experienced Tutors to teach Maths, English, and PSHE at Entry Level 3, Level 1, and Level 2.

Were seeking dedicated Functional Skills Tutors in the Newcastle area to work with students who arent currently in full-time education. These learners may be facing emotional or behavioural challenges, so were looking for Tutors who are calm, adaptable, and committed to helping them re-engage with learning in a positive way.

Sessions are delivered in person – this could be in a local community space, an alternative provision setting, or sometimes within the students home environment.
