Furniture Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Designer, located in Surat. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and functional furniture designs, collaborating with clients or teams to understand design requirements, and creating prototypes to refine and finalize concepts. Additional responsibilities include integrating aesthetic and practical design elements, ensuring designs meet production feasibility and budget constraints, and staying updated on emerging design trends and materials to inform creative work.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Furniture Design, Furniture creation, and related craftsmanship
• Knowledge of Carpentry, including understanding of materials and construction techniques
• Skills in Interior Design to ensure furniture complements spaces effectively
• Experience with Product Design, focusing on functionality and market demands
• Proficiency with design software and tools such as CAD or modeling software
• Attention to detail and a strong creative mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in furniture design or similar roles is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
