Role Summary
Velafi is looking for an experienced FX Trader to execute, manage, and optimize FX strategies supporting cross-border flows. The ideal candidate brings strong execution discipline, market insight, and risk management expertise tailored to LATAM currencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute FX trades across multiple currencies in alignment with client and treasury needs.
- Monitor market trends and macroeconomic indicators affecting FX rates.
- Manage exposure and hedging strategies, ensuring liquidity and margin control.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams on rate engines and pricing logic.
- Provide daily reporting and reconciliation support.
- Contribute to pricing strategy, spread optimization, and internal analytics.
