Position: FXMM SPECIALIST (1yr renewable contract + 1 mth completion bonus)

My client, a top tier Private bank is looking for a FXMM specialist.

• Monthly salary: SGD 3.8 to 5K (depending on the experience of the candidate)
• Work location: East, next to expo MRT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Back office operations for IRS, FX/FX Options, FX Structures and Money Markets transactions booked and supported out of the Hong Kong and Singapore Booking Centres.
• Conducting daily activities professionally and accurately and ensuring all guidelines/policies are followed to mitigate any errors or losses to maintain operational excellence.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

Client Management (internal & external)

• Close collaboration with internal partners, external providers and relevant departments on system and workflow improvements.
• Providing prompt, accurate and quality service to internal clients.

Business Management

• Matching of trade confirmations via SWIFT for FX/FXO and MM transactions
• Reconciliation of long form confirmations for FX Structures and IRS
• Authorisation of Interbank MM Deals.
• Processing of IRS trades, pre-termination and reversals of loans and deposits.
• Handling exception queue for FX trades.
• Investigation and resolution of trade discrepancies and cash breaks assigned.
• Participation in process reviews and implement workflow improvements and UAT testing when required.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical

• Diploma holder or higher
• Minimum 1 year of FXMM-related banking working experience
• Knowledge on SWIFT messages (MT2,3 and 6 series) is an advantage
