The company develops bite-sized, high-octane multiplayer mobile games catering to busy lifestyles, offering fast and skill-based PvP gameplay. Hyperplay’s debut title, Super Over Cricket, delivers the exhilaration of a final-over cricket showdown in just minutes, emphasising quick, real-time victories. The game is currently in Open Testing on the Play Store with 5K+ installs. Early data validates user interest, gameplay appeal, and monetisation potential.

Why this role exists:

The product has crossed the prototype phase. To move from “working game” to a scalable, monetisable, multiplayer-first cricket franchise , we need a co-founder who fully owns technology, development strategy, and execution.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Tech Ownership: Lead all decisions on game architecture, multiplayer stacks, and backend infrastructure.
• Development Strategy: Determine the most efficient path to scale, managing external studios or hands-on development.
• Multiplayer Engineering: Architect and optimise real-time or asynchronous multiplayer systems (essential for competitive cricket).
• Economy & Monetisation: Design and implement a secure \"Gems/Coins\" economy, IAP billing systems, and ad-mediation layers.
• Tech Stack Evolution: Ensure the game is optimised for performance across a wide range of Android devices, focusing on memory management and load times.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 5+ years in mobile game development, ideally with experience in a startup or a fast-paced studio with at least one title taken from conception to global launch.
• Unity Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of Unity 3D and C#.
• Multiplayer Knowledge: Hands-on experience with multiplayer frameworks (e.g., Photon, PlayFab, Mirror, Nakama, or custom Socket-based solutions).
• Gaming Passion: You don't just build games; you play them. You understand the \"meta\" of successful titles like Cricket League or Clash Royale.
• Founder Mentality: You are comfortable with risk and have the grit to solve complex problems without a manual. 
• Problem Solver: Ability to look at a \"basic\" gameplay loop and visualise the technical path to making it \"world-class.\"

• Currently in an engineering or game dev role, looking to transition into founder mode
