GI Program Director – Greater Phoenix Area
Hospital employed practice is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to serve as fellowship Program Director Position is 75% clinical and 25% academic Competitive base salary offered commensurate with qualifications and experience Practice in a 571-bed academic Level 1 Trauma Center and attached clinics with support from Hepatology, Liver transplant, Advanced Endoscopy Services, General Surgery, all Surgical Subspecialties, Pathology, and Radiology APP support in clinic Fellowship is a 3-year, 6 fellow ACGME accredited program Responsibilities include: Maintain ongoing certification and compliance with ACGME requirements Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education, develop and review program curricula, and monitor fellow supervision at all participating sites. Work with other departments and other clinical sites to develop and maintain appropriate clinical and educational rotations for the fellows and residents Regularly assess and promote fellow well-being while fostering an environment in which diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the forefront of fellows’ clinical and academic experiences Develop opportunities for bidirectional communication with fellows and faculty Oversee and facilitate faculty and fellow evaluations and performance management with feedback Fellow Recruitment and Selection GME Research / Scholarly Activity Program Evaluation Comprehensive benefits package offered including CME, sign-on bonus, relocation, 403B with match, and more!
