Job Description

Summary

This position is meant to service custom reporting requests (internal and external) that require direct interaction with database systems. It is not primarily meant for database development, but does require creative application of existing systems, especially via SQL programming.

Job Scope

  • Guide conversations with non-technical users to understand business needs. Requires effective English communication.
    Review reporting requests, which often lack technical detail, and collaborate with internal partners to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Design, create, and distribute custom reports.
    Perform research in reporting systems and leverage software and coding tools, especially SQL programming, to provide needed reporting.
  • Contribute to team-wide training, quality review, and maintenance tasks.
