Job Role: GCP Data Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 7 to 12 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and manage ETL processes to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and optimize data lakes to store and manage complex data sets.
• Manage databases, particularly MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable data architectures.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data engineering.
• Proficient in MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline creation.
• Experience with Data Lakes for large-scale data storage and management.

Secondary Skills:

• Knowledge of Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem.
• Automotive domain experience is an added advantage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in GCP or related technologies are a plus.
