Responsibilities

The Gemologist's main responsibilities during this contract will be to :

  • Examine and identify gemstones using microscopes and other specialized equipment
  • Grade stones based on color, clarity, cut, and carat weight
  • Write reports documenting gemstone characteristics and appraisal
    • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Gemology or certification from recognized institutions like GIA or Gem-A
  • Proficiency with gemological instruments 
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and certification in grading standards
