    • We are looking for a highly analytical and resourceful Gemstone Buyer who understands gemstones in depth and thinks like a business owner. You will be responsible for sourcing gemstones, building supplier trust, and negotiating strong commercial terms that improve profitability.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Source gemstones from domestic and international markets.
  • Evaluate gemstones based on treatments, origins, grading, and recovery potential.
  • Determine value vs. yield and make ROI-focused purchase decisions.
  • Build long-term vendor relationships and negotiate competitive pricing.
  • Ensure purchased stones meet manufacturing and inventory needs.
  • Monitor market trends, supply variations, and gemstone advancements.
  • Drive sourcing efficiency and convert procurement into a strategic advantage.

    • Required Gemstone Expertise

  • Excellent understanding of gemstone types, treatments, and origins.
  • Ability to judge cut-loss, grading standards, calibration potential, and supply chain quality.
  • Experience in vendor markets (India/Thailand/Africa/China preferred).
  • Ability to connect sourcing decisions to final retail profitability.
