    • We are seeking a Gemstone Rough Buyer with deep knowledge of rough gemstones and global sourcing markets. You will be responsible for identifying high-yield rough stones, negotiating competitive deals, and ensuring strong supply channels.


    Key Responsibilities

  • Source rough gemstones from trusted suppliers globally.

  • Evaluate rough material based on yield, recovery %, treatments, and origin.

  • Estimate cut-loss and profitability from rough parcels before purchase.

  • Build long-term vendor relationships and negotiate aggressively yet ethically.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to forecast production needs.

  • Reduce procurement costs while increasing overall value extraction.

  • Ensure rough purchases align with retail and manufacturing strategy.

    • Required Gemstone Expertise

  • Strong understanding of rough gemstone characteristics, origins, and treatments.

  • Ability to judge potential yield and profitability before buying.

  • Experience in rough gemstone vendor markets (India/Thailand/Africa/China preferred).

  • Ability to align rough sourcing with final retail profitability.
