A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Blockchain Engineer.




Position type: Contract

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Location: Charlotte, NC



As a Blockchain Engineer you will:

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.

Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.

Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in building, developing, implementing, and maintaining core blockchain modules in Go using the Cosmos SDK, including a sophisticated, role-based token-factory for native asset issuance.

Experience in designing and implementing custom logic within the ABCI++ interface (Prepare-Proposal/Process-Proposal) to enable advanced features and optimizations.

Experience to configure, launch, and maintain our blockchain network, including genesis configuration, validator setup, and consensus parameter tuning.

Experience in Implementing and managing cross-chain functionality using the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol.

To write exhaustive Unit, Integration, and End-to-End tests to guarantee the security, correctness, and performance of the core protocol.

Participate in architectural discussions, conduct rigorous code reviews, and contribute to our high standards for technical documentation.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in our development, test, and production environments.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $80 - $85 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
