Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.

  • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper classification of accounts.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Issue and record customer invoices.

  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables.

  • Perform AR aging analysis and support collections when required.

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Review, record, and process supplier invoices.

  • Ensure payments are made accurately and on time.

  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and upload tax filings (VAT, withholding tax, or other applicable taxes) on the relevant government platforms.

  • Ensure accuracy of tax calculations and compliance with submission deadlines.

  • Maintain proper tax documentation and records for audits or reviews.

Reconciliation & Reporting Support

  • Perform bank and cash reconciliations on a regular basis.

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial summaries and reports.

  • Support external accountants, auditors, or tax consultants when needed.

General Support

  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.



Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a General Accountant or similar role.

  • Hands-on experience in daily accounting operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and tax submissions.

  • Experience working without reliance on a specific ERP or accounting system (manual or basic tools experience acceptable).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic financial controls.

  • Practical experience in VAT and tax submission platforms.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to organize and manage financial records efficiently.

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel and accounting documentation.
