Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly closing of books
• Preparation and maintenance of accounting schedules including analysis of variances
• Ensures timely completion of tasks in accordance with internal and group accounting deadlines
• Responsible for the tax compliance of the company along with filing of regular tax returns
• Manages inter company transactions including reporting and reconciliations
• Reviews and approves invoices for payment processing including answering queries regarding invoices by stakeholders.
• Ensures adherence to internal control policies and provides improvement points when necessary
• Ensures proper documentation (paper and digital) of all accounting-related transactions
• Monitors employee-related balances and reconciles variances, if any
