The General Counsel responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal counsel on a wide range of business matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize risks and protect organizational interests.
  • Advise senior management on legal implications of business decisions and strategies.
  • Oversee litigation and manage relationships with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Assist HR with employee matters as/ when required.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Manage outside counsel.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on legal and business objectives.
