**Job Title: Manufacturing and Shipping Associate** **Job Description**
Join our dynamic team where you will start your journey by gaining hands-on experience in the Shipping department for 2-3 days. This foundational training ensures you understand our day-to-day operations before advancing to your specialized role, whether it's Saw Operating, General Labor, Shipping, or Forklift Operating.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pull materials to place on the saw.
+ Work effectively in a team environment.
+ Read tape measures accurately.
+ Understand and perform simple math calculations.
+ Lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.
+ Train and get certified on forklift operations.
+ Maintain a high level of work ethic in a hands-on job.
**Essential Skills**
+ Manufacturing experience.
+ Material handling experience.
+ Proficiency with measuring tools, especially tape measures.
+ Forklift operating experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in construction, production, or concrete work.
+ Familiarity with power tools.

**Work Environment**
Work in a very clean and well-lit environment, with an emphasis on teamwork. You'll be on your feet for 8 hours a day, performing repetitive lifting. The busiest period is from 2-5:30 pm when shipments leave the facility. Choose between the 1st Shift (6 am-2:30 pm, Monday-Friday) or the 2nd Shift (currently 10 am-5:30 pm with a goal of transitioning to 1 pm-9:30 pm, Monday-Friday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
