We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our production team. This individual will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality components to specification. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain production logs and records, including output and any rejected units.
- Perform equipment checks before use to ensure proper setup.
- Follow safety protocols and keep the workspace clean and organized.
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a machinist (CNC or manual machining experience preferred).
Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
