General Laborer

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a General Laborer. Initially, you will take on the role of a general laborer with the potential to advance to a 'package lead'. You will be responsible for packaging steel as it comes down the line, ensuring each customer order is fulfilled accurately. This is a unique packaging role involving handling of large steel coils, weighing up to 25 tons, which are moved by machines. Your responsibilities will include banding and strapping these coils together, as well as using a computer to track orders. You will receive training and certification to operate a hilo, so comfort with learning new skills is essential. This position requires quick thinking and the ability to halt production to prevent any nonconformance.

• Package steel coils according to customer orders.
