United Elevators is looking to hire a General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3–5 years of experience as a General Ledger Accountant
• Previous experience in the construction or contracting industry is preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner
• Review and reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Perform account reconciliations on a regular basis
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets and financial statements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger records
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
