Job Description
Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and bank statements; prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payroll, and tax filings as needed.
- Monitor and manage cash flow; assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Support audits and liaise with external accountants.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
