Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments).
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger and bank statements; prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process invoices, payroll, and tax filings as needed.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow; assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Support audits and liaise with external accountants.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
