Manage day-to-day plant operations and production schedules
Ensure achievement of production targets, yield, and efficiency
Monitor equipment utilization and minimize downtime
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with EHS standards, statutory regulations, and company policies
Implement safety initiatives and conduct regular audits
Ensure product quality as per standards and customer requirements
Maintenance & Engineering
Coordinate preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to improve asset reliability
Support CAPEX projects and plant upgrades
People Management
Lead and manage plant workforce including supervisors, engineers, and operators
Drive training, skill development, and performance management
Maintain industrial relations and workforce discipline
Cost & Productivity Management
Control manufacturing costs and optimize resource utilization
Drive productivity improvement and waste reduction initiatives
Monitor budgets and plant operating expenses
