Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:
       Education:
Certificate/degree in health, business, marketing or equivalent knowledge with relevant experience. 
Background:
Minimum of five years' relevant management experience, preferably in a retirement residence;
Must have a high degree of interpersonal skill which would enable the incumbent to deal successfully with residents, their families, staff, stakeholders;
Most possess strong leadership skills;
Must have good understanding of all relevant Provincial and Federal Acts and Regulations. i.e. RHA, ESA, Human Rights Code, Health Discipline Act., etc. 
Personal Requirements:
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Capable of adapting to different situations and change
Keen interest in working with seniors 
FUNCTIONS:
Manage, co-ordinate and direct all activities of the residence, including the management of human, physical and financial resources;
