Job Description

Purpose of Position : To provide leadership in a customer focused organization to grow sales and profits in an assigned territory.

Principal Responsibilities :

1. Be sales focused.

2. Responsible for driving sales and growing market share in district. Build a district that represents the Southern States Brand. Lead by example with field work and sales calls. Full day store visits should include 1-3 customer calls.

3. Communicate market trends in your district for feed, agronomy, farm supplies and petroleum to retail operations management and wholesale divisions.

4. Foster an environment with open communications for growth and development of all retail employees.

5. Interact with employees to build trust. Create a comfortable climate for raising concerns. Demonstrate the ability to listen, observe and be an objective sounding board.
