REPORTS TO: Vice President of Operations and COO

FUNCTION: Oversees Feedlot operations and directs Feedlot management team. Completes operational requirements through delegation to management team; follows up on work results.

Responsibilities

• Manages 5-6 subordinate managers. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these individuals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training management employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining management employees; and addressing complaints/problems.
