General Manager - Innovation (Pharmaceutical)

Overview

We are partnering with a leading pharmaceutical organization to identify a PhD-qualified R&D leader who will shape strategic direction and execution across Pharmaceutical and Biologics development. This role provides oversight across scientific, technical, quality, and technological functions, with a strong focus on innovation, regulatory excellence, and cost-effective R&D leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set R&D strategy, frameworks, and operational targets for innovation and cost efficiency
• Guide export dossier quality and regulatory readiness
• Manage in-house, outsourced, and in-licensed development projects
• Drive analytical development, contract testing, and digital data access
• Optimize R&D investment, costs, equipment, and facilities
