GENERAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Manager is responsible for all functions of the restaurant. These functions include

directing daily operations, training, restaurant cleanliness, guest relations, directing of staff, completion of food and beverage orders as needed, serving of quality food and beverage, and maintaining company standards and culture.

  • Ensure that all food and products follow the standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that the team follows the standard operating procedures of sanitation and cleanliness to ensure the appearance of the facility through the training of employees and by creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
